There is some content on Twitch that does push it too far for my tastes but I don’t blame those women for the fact some people are gross. That women are treated differently for their appearance is a systemic problem a lot larger than Twitch.

Dressing up for comfort is not LITERAL comfort, yes sweats & no make up would /literally/ be more comfortable but the mental discomfort of being dressed like that when being judged at by hundreds or thousands outweighs that by a significant amount.

Female entertainers in other spheres are allowed to dress up, I’m not really sure why female Twitch streamers are looked down on for wanting a costume. SHRUG MAN I DUNNO

Oh and this idea that some female streamers are bringing others down is yawn bullshit. Female streamers are individuals just as much as male streamers. It’s like suggesting Gross Gore shouldn’t stream his content because everyone will think all male streamers are like him lmao

I mean banning booty shorts and other revealing apparel specifically when contextually presented for sexual intent in a pornographic manner would be a monumental leap in the right direction Twitch is a porn site for 14 year old boys and it really is defining the sites culture

What pornographic content do you think is going on at Twitch exactly?? Like WHAT haha. Am I missing something? There is already a dress code. I’m not sure why Twitch needs a puritanically modest when literally no other avenue of entertainment, including YouTube, is that strict.

As a woman that has streamed without a webcam for 7+ years if people are blaming others for their streams not performing well then maybe they're the problem. BUt shE wEarS tHiS so?Why the fuck do you care focus on your own content and let people look cute people are stupid
-
This too for sure. It’s totally fine not to like other people’s content and be critical of it too I just can’t get behind the idea that every woman who doesn’t dress in a potato sack is aiding to the objectification of women lol.

It’s sad this happens. How you dress and how you choose to look shouldn’t subject you to this kind of abuse. No one should be. How you choose to dress and look is no one else’s business

It's an age old game of blaming others for their lack of success. Cant appease them so dont try to please them.
