So let me get this straight: baby boomers had the chance for an affordable college education in their youth, most of them refuse to support affordable college education now, and we’re giving free college credits to old people that can afford it, and will die soon anyways? 🤔

I do not understand people who get angry when people change their views IN THE DIRECTION THAT YOU WANT THEM TO CHANGE. Where were you in 2010 is an immature retort? Grow up and invite them in.

I'm rewatching Schitt's Creek (yes, again) and I could just watch season four on a constant loop. Watching David and Patrick fall in love is so fucking wholesome. It's the best love story on television. Their first kiss always makes me cry.

It looks like this is a fake, found on Behance, which I didnt know about before today (I should). I stand by the basic message of - vegan jokes are played out. Find something new. I'll also keep buying sbr, because it's vegan, easy to find, and delicious

So, I've been looking around for the original post (I've been seeing it shared in vegan spaces), and I don't see an original. I'm hoping this isn't real. Either way, these types of campaigns are boring, alienating, and ugly.

Like. I'm not angry. Just bored with jokes from 2010. And I'll definitely hesitate to pick up another bottle in the future

I had SBR on chicken fried tofu the other night and it was the shit. It's also amazing on seitan, veggie burgers, and veggies. The recipes for most of their sauces are vegan. This alienates a lot of customers.

Just saw the new Sweet Baby Ray's ads and... uh.. well, as a vegan fan of SBR, I'm disappointed. It's 2019. Vegan jokes are tired. Try harder, do better.

It’s normal and good that every viral post is like “HEARTWARMING: This six year old boy beer battered and fried his prosthetic leg to feed his starving family when they ran out of food stamps.”

So true! The only people saying it’s intolerant to mute intolerance are the people trying to do sneaky harmful shit and gaslight. Fuck those people. Enough of it. My grandparents proudly fought nazis, let’s always do that. Taking the moral high ground includes fighting nazis.

There is no obligation to protect the intolerant in a tolerant society. How did this get lost in a lot of recent discourse?

Cops with guns drawn surrounded an unarmed Black man, William, who was kneeling on the ground with his hands in the air, in California this AM. It’s filmed by a young woman, Skye, who I think literally saves his life. Listening to her is gut-wrenching.

In spite of the paradox of tolerance, the police at Motor City Pride, by protecting literal Nazis (carrying a Nazi flag, pissing on a Flag of Israel), countered their own goals of keeping the peace. Every city should disallow police from having a float at Pride, as St. Louis did.
