"Neutral in viewpoint", eh? Was it "neutral" to single out the members of the GSA for interrogation? Also, I'm curious how the designation of a safe space is somehow "neutral". Has it really come to this? Are hysterical grownups now insisting that "all spaces matter"?
Look. Erasure is violence. It is an attempt to remove the full humanity of a group of people and deny their fundamental right to exist. There is no "neutrality" when it comes to the protection of children and the guarantee of their fundamental rights.
Honestly? If this was my kid's school? If I found out that my child had been REMOVED FROM CLASS and then interrogated for FORTY FIVE MINUTES, I would be in that building immediately and heads would roll. That's targeted harassment, folks. I hope those parents have lawyered up.
