    I hope Black media is paying attention. When traditionally white publications are putting our own rising stars on their covers before we are, that should be a wake-up call.

    Thank you for having me as your first experience covering a trans person. I know I will not be the last. so excited to see Elle leverage their platform to help other talent of trans xp find visibility, & the safe space to be acknowledged & vulnerable in this powerful way.

    Not something Ive talked about a ton but like 1/4 people who become pregnant, I miscarried. I was racked with guilt wondering if I "did something" to "cause" it. If I didn't get enough rest or was too stressed. Under Georgia's new abortion law I could be facing jail time

    Bad policies like the forced pregnancy bill are a direct result of voter suppression. If leaders can silence Georgians’ voices at the ballot box, they can ignore Georgians’ voices when in office. We will fight back in court and at the voting booth.
