    We need diverse communities in to ensure we have a diverse workforce in medicine. So much energy is spent in institutions on recruitment. We must spend even more energy on mentoring, and sponsorship to ensure retention of future colleagues!

    One of the best things about academic medicine is access to wise clinicians across all generations. I have often felt that coffee with senior docs taught me more about leadership than many courses. It is at the end that we learn what matters in the beginning.

    a highly personalized one from the ACGME 7 domains of core competence to fill any general knowledge gap while rocking my final board exam. I call it “Operation Mad Med Woman”. & it is exactly as the name entails ‘crazy’ & I don’t recommend it but totally worth it. -
