Hearing v. sad news that younger folks died of Covid-19 “despite having no pre-existing conditions”- and older folks having it appended, like “Oh, but she had pre-existing conditions” as if that explains it all.
Maybe don’t use the language of capital to describe the dead.

I never want to hear the words “pre-existing conditions” again, a phrase I have almost only ever heard in the context of people being denied or allowed treatment access & $ based on them.
Being human is expensive.
