We shouldn't feel hurt by insults from people we don't respect, and we shouldn't respect people who resort to insults.

People think colours must be in our minds since science say they aren't in the world. But science says they aren't in our minds either.

Why do we not find the smell of our own bodily odours and waste disgusting? And is it a perceptual effect (we can recognize the odour) or a cognitive one (we know it's ours) or a mixture? (Shades of Dennett's coffee tasters.)

What are your favourite works (literary, philosophical, artistic, etc) on the theme of Europe? (One of mine is Ian Serraillier's The Silver Sword, which could be a founding text of the EU.)

If you have sent me an email about illusionism and I haven't replied, I apologize. It's not for lack of interest. The opposite. I want to write a full & helpful reply but I've been under pressure recently and haven't had time. I haven't forgotten and hope to respond before I die.
