We remember when you brought your Son out on a strikline @keithellison. You were fighting with workers in the #Fightfor15 before anyone.

You want to pay McDonald's workers 15 buks! This makes people not want to improve themselves. Hell I'll just quit my job & work at McD's
-
If min wage is $15, why would people quit a job (presumably above min wage) to go work at McD's?
-
min wage was raised in my area to $10. Because of that, entry-level wages at my comp were raised = domino affect, we ALL got raises
-
Which is why it doesn't matter. The same number of goods are produced so prices rise. Inflation = more money chasing same goods

Why not a minimum wage tied to the cost of living index on a county by county basis?
-
$15 is too high for small towns in the middle of no-where and potentially too low for places like Manhattan and San Francisco.
-
Also, not tying it to inflation and cost of living is how we end up in this situation where it takes a political movement to raise it again.

And then robots/kiosks take over those jobs... thereby NO ONE has a job. Such an idiotic way of looking at things.
-
So you won't shame workers making $7.25 who go on welfare, right? In fact, we should expand it.
-
Minimum wage was never intended to support families or anything. Min. wage should be done away with completely.
-
Generally I wouldn't agree with an Ohio State fan but this time.... :)

Are you for the team up north

The team that shall not be named? No way! ;)
