So here’s what happened today. The NYPD arrested me at 96th Street and West Side Highway while I was taking photos and video to post to Twitter. I told the police I was with the Press, they walked by me and then turned around and arrested me.

Something's bigger at play in the background here. A stranger breaking out windows at an AutoZone, a pallet of 'bricks' placed on the sidewalk near a building, arresting members of the press...this doesn't feel organic.

There was an old police car on Fairfax in LA that seemed conveniently placed unmanned ahead of the protesters marching to bait them as well. Something definitely seems fishy out there rn.

Media arent above the law.

And he didn’t break the law. He was no threat. Tell me what he did that was illegal. And no, not what he was charged with. That was bs. Police do target journalists. It’s not in their best interests to see the truth of their violence, lawlessness, and corruption.

What the hell is wrong with the cops in America? It didn’t use to be like this. We are supposed to be able to trust them and look to them to protect us. Someone is telling them, training them that this kind of treatment of the press is okay. It has to stop.

It didn't used to be this? I am 63 yrs old and it"s a-l-w-a-y-s been like this. Thank the gods we have cell phones noe.
