the fact that it's nearly been a year now since the BLM protests began, and things are the same (if not worse), is evidence enough that too many people still aren't listening. if you can somehow STILL turn a blind eye to bigotry and police brutality, you SHOULD be uncomfortable.
And if you are just following them for porn how hard is it to just scroll past something?
drawing porn is an inherently political act, especially if it involves LGBTQ+ people, so the fact that porn artists will sometimes be political should be expected and unsurprising at all
Anyone saying "I only followed for the porn" on politics posts should be insta-blocked
"Actually as a viewer of your art, I'm basically your employer, and you're not allowed to post anything beyond porn or porn-related topics. After those are posted you can go back into your art cave until I need you again." Like what level of entitlement gets you to that point jfc
I have no issue with people posting whatever they want. But if a profile I followed for fun stuff starts only posting political stuff, I’m gonna unfollow. I stay up to date, I don’t need it taking over my relaxing time too
If you don't announce your displeasure, no one will no and no one will care when you unfollow.
