oh my god, I am so so sorry this happened to you and I'm going to contact my MP and MPP to see if they can do anything to help (and I'd encourage other Canadians to do the same, particularly if you're from London -- public pressure can influence local politicians a LOT)

Who are the MPs and MPPs in London, ON? Are they Liberal, NDP, or Conservative? I wouldn't bother with any Conservative MPPs or MPs, but would message any sympathetic ones to demand something be done about this.
