Really hoping the Tiktok/YouTube discourse around Ep 3 of the Last of Us looks at the themes, the emotional beats and the sheer skill of covering a 16-year love affair in one hour, rather than 'here are ten easter eggs you may have missed'

Pre-ordered this after hearing the author on Radio 4 this morning - looks really interesting. Not sure if video games come into the remit but I bet there is plenty of relevance

I wrote a very short piece on #GoldenEye007 yesterday and the comments are *amazing*. Lots of great stories of all-night multiplayer sessions fuelled by both legal and illegal stimulants. Go and have a look!

Hi I reviewed Pocket Card Jockey on Apple Arcade. The going was good to firm, occasionally heavy
Next week's guest is Ashly Burch, star and co-writer of Apple TV's Mythic Quest, and voice to some of video gaming's most popular leading characters, including Horizon's Aloy, Mel from The Last of Us, Chloe Price from Life is Strange, and, of course, Tiny Tina.

I also got to try ’s brilliant new creativity project Downpour which lets you build interactive game/narrative projects with just your phone. I made a story about a hippo and a car. It’s so clever and intuitive to use and it’s out this summer

My least favourite comment under any culture article is "this is nothing new". Unless the writer explicitly claims "this event/phenomenon is absolutely original and has never been done before in history!" we should just silently acknowledge that all art has precedents. Thanks bye

I watched Bodies Bodies Bodies. It is currently my favourite satire on Gen Z social constructs and the disasters that befall us if we rely on meme-driven discourse and ineffective and ambiguous digital platforms for communication. Three stars.
