I wish #Illumos 'beadm list' had the option for easily script-parseable output for eg 'current BE' and 'next active BE' and so on.

@thatcks Something akin to "beadm list | egrep 'R|N|NR'" but in convenient command-option form?

@kebesays So my rule is 'if it's human oriented output it's not stable unless it's explicitly documented'. Scripts are left up the river. -
@kebesays 'beadm list' output probably hasn't changed yet, but we've been bitten by having to parse 'zpool status' output and it changed. -
