I just asked the Secretary of State for Work & Pensions about the gross injustice of nurses relying on food banks while the rich get richer. Her response? She called food banks a "perfect way" to meet the challenges of those in poverty. The Tories are totally out of touch.

True they are not completely out of touch at all. Tory MP Miriam Cates built a food bank app which charges charities £180 for their service. Where there is poverty there is money to be made as every astute and principled Tory knows.

Trussell Trust does charge these fees. It is reported that foodbanks who join receive grants, training etc. However, for a Tory MP to profit from hardship caused by their own policies is at the best unethical.

I'm not sure it's that simple but Johnson has to persuade the Labour voters twice to lend him their vote. With no Brexit this time it will be far more difficult to persuade the Labour voter he has their best interests at heart.
