I know I speak for everyone when I say we could all use a speech the length of a feature film from Donald Trump right now.

Yeah. Partial data seems worse than no data, particularly if we don’t know how representative the precincts are!

This is all such unbelievable horseshit. The media could stop just reporting them saying this, and could report on the fact that they’re just making shit up. They could.

In this climate, the decision to release 62% of the vote and have it reflect Buttigieg with a narrow lead over Sanders after everything that's transpired in the last 24 hours is just absolutely mind-boggling

The Iowa caucus disaster is a function of a broken economic structure that rewards con artistry over competence.

In Iowa's 10 most populous counties, just 375 of 641 precincts have been reported. Bernie is leading in 7 of these counties, so this will only get better for him as we see more results. Add that to leads in 12 straight NH primary polls and Bernie's gotta like where he's sitting.

How did they decide on the narrative-setting 62%? If we waited this long for 62, how much longer will we have to wait for the other 38 - another 6 hours? 12? A week? Why is the remaining 38 so much harder to discern than the 62?

With 62% of precincts in: has a 1,190 vote lead, but has a 1.8% lead in state delegates. The last thing Iowa needs is for the candidate who won the most votes to get less delegates, due to their complex allocation system.
