Because space is not a sea? Many similarities but underlying premise of freedom of the seas was that seas cannot be occupied. Not true for moon, asteroids, Mars.

Not unless the banks open up there . LOL. No man,country or corporate has any right to proclaim sovereignty or ownership of space. We are nothing but parasites that need to be eliminated if we think we can.
