      2. They calibrated fudge factors to known asteroid sizes, so they should be close, right? Would really like someone to explain.

      3. I would say an albedo of 1.0 would likely be “wildly wrong.” But can’t check independently.

      Albedo 1 means perfectly reflective, 0 means perfectly black. Myhrvold complains that NWOWISE team does'nt account for albedo. /2

      NEOWISE did not measure albedo, they measured asteroid size.

      Mainzer said they fit observations to 4 parameters: diameter, albedo, 3-micron albedo and beaming. I don’t know what beaming is.

      ... and then calibrated using known size (diameter) measurements, so that the rest goes into what you call 'fudge factor'.

      See figure 11 of that paper, most sources with albedo estimate <0.5. The very few getting close to 1 are the smallest.

          I am specifically asking for just *one* example of NEOWISE measurement of asteroid size being wildly wrong. Diameter, not albedo.
