      @PeterDEdmonds We don't hear radio waves either, but we say radio telescopes listen to the cosmos. Not sure that seriously misleads people.

      @kchangnyt In every other part of EM spectrum we say "see" or "detect" or "observe". We can do same with radio & avoid confusion.

      @PeterDEdmonds @kchangnyt "Hearing" radio waves sounds (ha!) lazy. Observe is a nice catch-all term regardless of EM band or even the field.
