@28Loki Again, the moon does not appear between DSCOVR and Earth every day, either. Plus, the moon does not orbit the Earth in a day.

@28Loki If DSCOVR were precisely at L1, then moon would pass in front of Earth if and only if there were a solar eclipse. Agree? -
