      @28Loki True but not obvious why not. It looks like the moon is passing directly over the middle of Earth. Where did the shadow go?

      @28Loki Moon does not pass between DSCOVR and Earth every day. For 1, moon takes 27 days to orbit. For 2, orbits not exactly in same plane.
