Hopefully our actions will begin to see results. Is it possible that our spike, when compared to Italy, may be because of when we started testing people. What do you think?
Finally saw a curve of the testing & that looks exponential too, so that does play into it, especially in NY which now dominates the numbers. That may explain the uptick in recent days & masking some of the benefit of social distancing. But other places (Florida) are behind.

it is tough to get a handle on testing progress in NJ as I can't find a good source of data for either total tests or negative tests, but only positive tests https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2020/03/how-many-people-tested-sick-coronavirus-covid-each-state-america/608413/ … lists total tests for NJ as 1,661 as of Mar 20 but that seems off by an order of magnitude
