As always, consider the date aspirational—but let's be clear. An orbital flight of Starship this year, with the potential for reuse, would be revolutionary.https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1230642008257069056 …

Serious q: has SpaceX ever met one of Elon's aspirational schedule dates?

I would say the Starlink constellation is rolling out about on schedule.

Saw some tweets last fall on accuracy of his dates having increased significantly in most recent years.

And then at the Starship event in September, Elon promised a 20km hop by last November and set an aspirational date for orbital flight by the end of next month. Didn't happen, not gonna happen. Also put out unrealistic targets for Crew Dragon.

Since then, Elon has been putting out very realistic Crew Dragon schedules, so it's not like he is incapable of knowing how long things will take.
