To be fair, there is often a proprietary period where the scientists who built the instrument get to take a first crack at the data. But there's no reason that ISRO couldn't have released an image of the landing site or shared the coordinates.

True, which is why I pointed out that while ISRO claimed to have found the lander, they never provided any documentation of that.
