ISRO is trying to take a smart, more efficient approach to space missions, which could push the boundaries at a lower cost. That’s good. But there’s a learning curve. Sometimes it turns out you do need the extra test and the extra redundant system. And then it’s not as cheap.

You don't need to explain. India is a democracy where everyone is entitled to have an opinion. We like to keep it transparent and share our failures and successes to the world. Any criticism won't stop us to explore more. in India we try to be as effecient (not cheap) as possible

It’s a valid point he is making. Pushing cost boundaries has its challenges. But these are challenges worth taking on because someone has to.
