That's a disappointing statement. When you want an affordable yet hi-tech phone or gadgetry in the present day, then why can't attempts be made to have economic space missions.
All our @isro Missions have made it surely possible and it's incredible.
Just like you probably don't want the cheapest phone, but rather one that's a good value for the money, there are trade-offs between the price tag and the return on investment.

One failure is not a disaster (for space missions not involving astronauts). If ISRO bounces back like SpaceX has from its missteps, that would be great.
