This NASA event at 3pm ET at Marshall Space Flight Center will be worth watching for several reasons. Per the news release, Bridenstine is to discuss "the center’s role in launching astronauts to the Moon and landing them safely on the lunar surface."https://www.nasa.gov/press-release/nasa-administrator-to-discuss-human-lander-update-for-artemis-program …

Bottom line: Who is at today's announcement at 3pm ET, and what is said, will be pretty fascinating from space policy nerd perspective.

Cruz and Conryn repel in. Conryn flattens the Alabama reps while Cruz wrestles the lunar lander model from Bridenstine, only to find it's a trick. There's no money attached to the lander office. Off-screen, Shelby laughs. Then the video cuts to a prerecorded NASA TV segment.

Shelby may be laughing, but I'm crying at the beauty of this prose.

?? When have I been anti-human spaceflight? I'm not an advocate either way, but my job would certainly be a lot more fun with NASA astronauts on the moon in 2024.
