I feel like using "such as" in all of my articles this year to make up for lost time.

Today's discovery: the New York Times now allows "such as." An editor changed "like" to "such as" in my article, and I was about to change it back, but the current digital stylebook says both are acceptable. The '99 paper version deemed "such as" to be stilted.
