Saying New Mexico is located in the southern part of the United States isn't wrong even though it is in the Southwest. (I deliberately used "southern" with a small "s" and not South China.)

I just give a suggestion, I believe it is reasonable and the intention is to make thisbarticle better cuz I like this article so much. But really surprised that this is even considered as a challenge rather than a suggestion.

Don’t mean to be combative. If you were writing about Ohio for a Chinese audience, would you say it’s in the Midwest? It’s nowhere near the western half & it’s on the northern border. Wouldn’t it be more informative to say it’s in the eastern central part of the U.S.?
