This AM, I said that our moral and legal obligation to the Tribes and First Nations who have been here since time immemorial should compel city and county leaders to take on tough political fights, and use science to inform policy.
King County will work from the crest of the mountains to Puget Sound. We will listen to the thousands of years of knowledge about this place carried by Puget Sound Tribes & First Nations, & to the latest science. And we’ll act to do what’s right & protect this place we call home
