I thank the state of House of Representatives for joining the Senate to ban bump stocks and to encourage people to voluntarily surrender their firearms if they are considering suicide. We know what works. We can, and should, apply the same successful public health approach that dramatically reduced deaths from smoking and auto accidents to prevent firearm deaths. (3/4)
