      Tomorrow we will open a new family shelter in White Center, operated by @MarysPlaceWA.

      The shelter will have onsite case management, meals, job counseling, & homework areas to help families transition to permanent housing.

      We've opened 36 inpatient mental health treatment beds, & have new drug and alcohol treatment facilities coming to Renton, Kent, & Seattle.

          The fastest growing segment of King Co's population is people over 80. Unfortunately, homelessness among older folks is also on the rise.
