Rail that shares streets with cars stops traffic ALL directions at every intersection. Very inefficient.
During ST3, we were often asked why rail is the way to go.

They sold st3 on 4 car trains consistently during rush hour and they rarely run 3 car trains now and say they wont ever. They lied!
