People here are pro-science and actually want to get vaccinated which makes it take longer to become eligible. Same reason we had so much success: people actually followed the rules and wore masks.

I will never forget this day,we lived right down the road from the Life Care center in Kirkland where a lot of patients were hit with COVID early on,I’ll never forget the ambulance sirens going at all hours to and from. Thankful for the procedures that were put in place early on.

It didn't start a year ago, it started with the first death on February 29th. It started when community spread was happening and KC public health told everyone there was nothing to be concerned about. How we tell this story matters to those who suffered in the beginning.
