We will create community vaccination sites just like our high-volume testing sites, and we are looking at locating the first facilities in South King County, where we continue to see high rates of COVID and distressing health disparities. 2/3

We are not waiting for all the usual negotiations and contracts, but we expect to be reimbursed by the state and federal government if we are to continue our robust public health response. We are paying for these facilities out of the King County budget. 3/3

There are medical folks who would volunteer if told how/where/when.

You can volunteer via the Public Health Reserve Corps (PHRC) (Google it and sign up). It is a process but I am doing it. I have been vaccinated so hope to jump in.
