We know that once people have a place of their own where they can secure their belongings, get a full night’s sleep, take a hot shower in the morning, do laundry, and access services, they begin to stabilize and find jobs.

RV residents need to go there first thing. They're going up in flames and it's the start of winter. Those things ARE NOT SAFE! It is not a safety mitigation effort. It is a huge public health crisis that you guys need to solve. Been by the gym recently?

PLEASE reconsider the closing of other shelters. We aren’t utilizing the space “available” as it is, and thousands of people are stuck in the cold! Open more spaces, hotel vouchers, utilize buildings that have been empty for years, SOMETHING.

This is going to be a cold, dark winter and a lot of your constituents are losing everything. No more inhumane camp sweeps, especially without guaranteed beds. More people are going to die if you don’t step up and at least do the bare minimum. Please!

Saw ANOTHER group of tents burning tonight. People are freezing... and burning everything they have (and maybe themselves) to keep warm. Please do more.
