Our contact tracers have noted a disturbing pattern: Only one in five people is self-isolating when they develop COVID-19 symptoms. Close to 80% continue to circulate in the community. That needs to stop. If you're sick, stay home.https://komonews.com/news/coronavirus/only-1-in-5-isolating-when-covid-symptoms-develop-king-county-says …

Probably some - but individuals who are sick do not need a doctor's note to get paid time off, per the
@WADeptHealth. https://www.doh.wa.gov/Coronavirus/Workplace … Additionally, workers in Washington State all have paid time off under the state law passed in 2018. https://lni.wa.gov/workers-rights/leave/paid-sick-leave/ …50 replies 22 retweets 132 likes -
Doesn't cover gig workers but was a good start and how long is the backlog now it was a few months back in March. Do you support a living wage for all workers in King County?

Always have. In March we created a fund for low-income & gig workers to help compensate them for sick time. https://www.kingcounty.gov/depts/health/news/2020/March/31-covid.aspx … Folks who are concerned or have ideas can & should bring them to the Pandemic Advisory Group. We can always do more.
