Here are a couple of points of clarification:
Residents are directed to wear face coverings in most public settings.
Please use cloth face coverings; medical masks should be reserve for medical professionals.

Residents are strongly urged to comply w/ this directive. There is no criminal, civil, or financial penalty for failing to wear a face covering.
Wearing a mask can help prevent the spread of infection when worn by someone who is infected, even if they don't have symptoms.Show this thread -
The mask could help by blocking infectious droplets from spreading when someone with the infection coughs, sneezes, or speaks.
King County is partnering w/ community based & faith based organizations to distribute cloth face coverings to the public, as are several cities.Show this thread -
Businesses are allowed to exceed governmental regulations in how they are operate, provided that they do so in a way that does not discriminate.
The Gov’s plan requires that employers provide the protective gear that is required for their employees to do business.Show this thread -
