There’s been a persistent rumor that essential workers need some sort of pass or paperwork and that they might even be asked to present it by police. This is simply untrue.

@kcexec Can I take my son (same household) with a learners permit out to practice driving if we just loop around and don’t stop anywhere or see anyone? He needs to practice and this is a great time with less traffic. But, it’s not technically “staying home.”
That’s fine. Folks are being asked to stay at home to prevent contact with others. As long as you and your son stay in the car, go for it!
