There’s been a persistent rumor that essential workers need some sort of pass or paperwork and that they might even be asked to present it by police. This is simply untrue.

Non-essential workers are permitted to in public — folks can go to the stores that our essential workers are keeping open, after all! — so there would be no need for any kind of pass or documentation.
