      We want to keep as many outlets for healthy activity and stress relief available. By all means, go for a hike. Take the family for a stroll. Ride your bike. Kick a soccer ball around with your kids. But use good sense. Avoid gatherings and team sports. Don’t crowd each other.

      One of the most important things we can do for ourselves during this very odd and stressful time is to be kind to ourselves and others. That means helping to #flattenthecurve and acknowledging that guidance around social distancing applies to everyone — even you.

          Hiking trails in KC are packed, at least in North Bend. People aren’t maintaining social distancing. This is irresponsible. KC clearly needs a shelter in place order.

          We simply do not have enough space for recreation at this distance, please consider opening the golf courses for hikes and closing neighborhood streets for recreation in parts of the county without sidewalks
