I would support an income tax, but there would have to be assurances that the regressive sales tax would be permanently lifted.
Because of our regressive tax code, King County has limited revenue options — which means workers are unfairly burdened. This crisis demands more tools than just property and sales taxes.

It is not my fault or responsibility to pay for drug addicts and other homeless people to have housing. I have a job and am paid for my ability. Those people have the same opportunities, they need to step up and take care of themselves. This is not a solution. I pay enough taxes
