No, the issues isn’t revenue; the issue is King county has no budget based on revenue. Rather it is based on projects & spending priorities the citizens clearly don’t want.
You put all the money in the general fund and pass tax laws in the middle of the night. And we never see this work done. So where does it go? Maybe it’s time for Wa voters to sue our govt.
Im trying to figure out whats more unfair, fact that I976 cuts 36mill from metro budget costing 175k bus hrs, or the insight that tax payers get billed $4,900/ metro day, when I can go adhoc, no volume discount and rent a 56 passenger (nicer) bus and driver for $1,900/ day.
