And of course, we are addressing homelessness. This year, I will present a plan to Council that will thoroughly reform how we direct our regional homelessness response.

Gone will be siloed human services & homelessness efforts operating separately within King County & the City of Seattle. Instead, we will set up a new structure that will be jointly funded and accountable.

As I look back on all that we have accomplished together, I am certain of our vision, I am confident in our priorities, and I am ready to tackle the work ahead. I hope you’re with me.
