@kcmetrobus, I'm wondering: How do you keep track of ridership figures with this? Are the handheld readers somehow connected to what bus is coming next so the ridership can be counted towards the correct route? -
We've already installed fixed ORCA card readers at 21 of the 31 Metro bus stops on 3rd Avenue and will install the rest by end of the year. In the meantime, we'll have staff at those 10 stops with handheld readers during afternoon commutes to speed up boardings. - staffpic.twitter.com/h1MgqwY0nj
