Which line were you calling? @CrisisCXNs has limited the warm line for the safety of their operators but 211 should still be operational during their hours and 911 is supposed to be sending emergency responders to help folks get in. Looking into it, though. Thank you for helping.
I initially called 211, but I got a "We are closed -- hours are..." message, so I called SPD non-emergency, then got bounced to a County emergency services line (?). It took a lotta phone trees and waiting, which I can understand due to high demand, but we can do way, way better.
Our apologies for any confusion @chaseacross, King County 2-1-1 is open M-F's from 8-6pm. We've recently added an emergency services page to our site for this kind of weather in hopes of being able to better fill gaps. Thanks for your help and kindness!
