High pressure and calm winds often leads to rising air pollution levels. It will clear out this afternoon thanks to the approaching weather front. The full day average is thankfully still expected to be only MODERATE for King County and be within the EPA health-based standards.

Thank you for your reply. However, today was much worse than the usual inversion layer stuff. According to map at Purple Air, several readings above 150 were concentrated just NW of Boeing Field. They have come down this afternoon, but something bad happened there this AM.
