This should be permanent. Should also replicate for light rail & park and rides. Leaving the "last mile" to the free market (uber, lift, etc.) is too expensive & puts more cars on the road. W/o shuttles people burn more fuel & time but that's not an accounting they perform.
Starting Monday morning, commuters in West Seattle can hail a van to and from our Water Taxi dock or one of our @kcmetrobus routes at Alaska Junction. It's one of many ways we're helping commuters during the #SeattleSqueeze.
