King County Elections’s Tweets

Heads up, Capitol Hill voters! This week, the drop box was moved to a new location 40 feet north of its original location. And don't worry - we've cleaned the spray paint off. Our team inspects & cleans drop boxes after every election (& whenever else necessary).
Staff from King County, Washington's Facilities Management Division arrive at Seattle Central College to move a ballot drop box to its new location.
In the foreground, a member of the King County, WA Facilities Management Division prepares a very long drill bit that will help secure the ballot drop box into the ground using 8 inch long screws. Elections staff members and Facilities Management Staff members in the background ensure the ballot drop box is properly settled in its correct new location.

Roses are red - see this poem we wrote? It's not nearly as good as when you get out and vote! Also send ballot drop box selfies. We love those, too.

Happy New Year - and Happy World Braille Day! World Braille Day honors Louis Braille, who, at 15 years old, invented a system for visually impaired people to read and write. To celebrate, our friends sent us a message to share with readers and writers of braille. 🎉
