Heads up, Capitol Hill voters! This week, the drop box was moved to a new location 40 feet north of its original location. And don't worry - we've cleaned the spray paint off. Our team inspects & cleans drop boxes after every election (& whenever else necessary).

Power is out at Elections Headquarters in Renton. The building will close at 1 pm today. We will not post results today for the February Special or King Conservation District elections. Security will be on site monitoring the building to ensure it remains secure.

Today, our team opened 395 boxes of ballots, pulled 717 ballots from two precincts to be recounted, recounted them, verified the count, and ensured all ballots were securely resealed. 🙌

So far this morning, our team of around two dozen has pulled approximately 2/3 of the 717 ballots that will be recounted, from 395 boxes.

The stub on the top of your ballot is used by the printer to ensure that *your* ballot is correctly matched with *your* envelopes. By the time it reaches you, it has served its purpose and can be removed. Voter? Please remove this stub.🙏
