    The points in this thread on fundraising are also valuable to grantees and institutional philanthropy.

    Being an amazing fundraiser as a founder doesn’t mean you’re the best operator or manager. But it can make those deficiencies irrelevant because out-raising your competitors can help you hire great people in every role. Be a great fundraiser - it can make all the difference

    If you watched this morning's interview you saw a very composed, thoughtful, decisive journalist explain her thinking. Again, listen carefully. She did say this was a painful experience.
