Ms. Kay...My mom was from LA (Lower Alabama)...The monuments hurt 40% of the people in your state. My grandfather laid out the Alabama road system...There has to be a compromise that can work for all voters or we need to start over.

You can't deny your history, but you shouldn't honor the evil that built it. Put the shameful past in a museum. Stop paying tribute to it.
